Privacy Policy
Claude Architect Prep is an independent study application created by Aniesh Kumar. This policy explains how information is handled when you visit the app, create an account, or use its study features.
Privacy contact: study@aniesh.com. The app is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic or Google.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your email address, account identifier, linked sign-in providers, verification status, account creation and sign-in timestamps, and authentication/session information. For email/password registration, Supabase processes your password to authenticate you. Email/password registration does not ask for your name. The app operator does not receive your Google password.
- Google sign-in information: when you choose Google sign-in, Google and Supabase may supply your Google account identifier, email address, verification status and basic profile information such as your name and profile picture. The app uses your email address and account identifier to identify your account and associate it with your saved progress.
- Study information: answers and timestamps, practice and flashcard progress, bookmarks, personal notes, mock-exam answers and results, active sessions, and recent study activity.
- Technical information: hosting, authentication and email providers may process IP addresses, browser/device information, request timestamps, error logs and email-delivery events to operate and secure the service.
- Support correspondence: information you choose to include when contacting us. Please do not send passwords, sign-in links or sensitive personal information in your notes or support emails.
2. Why we use information
We use information to create and authenticate your account, save and restore your study progress across devices, calculate performance summaries and study recommendations, send requested confirmation or password-reset emails, respond to support requests, and investigate errors or misuse.
The app does not request access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, contacts or calendar. Google sign-in is used for authentication, not to access those services. We do not use your study notes or Google profile information for advertising or to train AI models in this app.
3. Browser storage and backups
The app stores authentication session information and a recovery copy of study progress in your browser's local storage. This supports persistent sign-in and recovery of interrupted saves. Older progress and conflict copies may also remain on the device.
Signing out does not necessarily erase these recovery copies. On a shared device, sign out and clear the site's browser data after use. Clearing browser data removes device copies and may remove work that has not synced. Exported backups are files you control; protect or delete them yourself. The app does not add advertising trackers or third-party behavioural analytics. Hosting and sign-in providers may use their own operational storage or cookies.
4. Service providers and disclosure
We use the following services to deliver the app:
- Supabase: account authentication and storage of account-associated study data. Account records and Google profile metadata are stored in Supabase Auth; study progress, including personal notes, is stored in the project’s PostgreSQL database. The current database region is Seoul, South Korea. See Supabase's privacy policy.
- Google: optional Google sign-in. See Google's privacy policy.
- Resend: delivery of authentication emails, including your recipient address, message content and delivery information. See Resend's privacy policy.
- ChatGPT Sites and its hosting infrastructure: website delivery and operational request processing. See OpenAI's privacy policy.
The operator may access data when necessary for support, maintenance or security. We do not sell personal information or share it with advertisers. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or necessary to protect the service and its users. Providers may process information in countries other than your own; selecting a sending region does not mean all app data is stored in that region.
5. Retention and security
Account records and saved study information remain stored until account deletion is completed, or until study information is changed or reset. The app does not automatically delete accounts or progress because an account becomes inactive. Signing out or revoking Google access does not delete these records.
When an account deletion request is verified and completed, the account and its associated study records are removed from the active Supabase database. This does not remotely erase browser copies or downloaded files. Support correspondence is separate from study records, and limited information may be retained where needed for security, resolving disputes or legal obligations. Provider logs and any backup copies follow the providers’ retention processes and may not disappear immediately when active records are deleted.
The app uses HTTPS, account authentication and database access controls designed to restrict study records to their owner. These measures reduce risk but cannot guarantee absolute security. Device recovery copies and exported files are not protected by signing out alone.
6. Your choices and requests
- Use Progress → Save a copy to download your study progress. This export contains study data, not a complete copy of authentication records, support correspondence or provider logs.
- Use Reset progress to clear the account’s current study state. Keep the page open until the app confirms that the reset has saved to your account. Resetting progress does not delete your account, provider logs or every device copy.
- There is currently no self-service account deletion feature. To request deletion, email study@aniesh.com and identify the account email address. Requests are handled manually by Aniesh Kumar, and we may ask you to verify account ownership before acting. A request alone does not immediately remove data. Please do not send passwords, authentication codes or sign-in links.
- You can also contact us at the same address to request access or correction, or for help with a privacy concern.
- You can revoke Google access through your Google Account connections. Revocation does not automatically delete your Claude Architect Prep account or its saved progress; contact us for deletion.
- Clear the site’s browser storage on each device and remove downloaded backups and summaries to delete copies under your control. If you used more than one address for the app, clear browser data for each address. Server-side account deletion cannot remove these copies remotely.
Depending on your location, applicable law may provide additional rights concerning your personal information. Contact us to make a request.
7. Children
Claude Architect Prep is intended for adult learners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
8. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy when the app's features or data practices change. The current version and its update date will be available on this page. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or communicated through the account email where appropriate.
